it's been a while. i know. i'm a horrible person.  so much going on though.  with work and life and church and work and life and church.  i'm sorry i abandoned you so, xanga. 

New to report?

Getting a new job at Lifeway Christian Bookstore.  I will be over the textbooks.  so, that means the professors will hate me for pestering them about getting their book order to me in a timely manner.  The students will hate me for not selling books at a price they like and then selling it back to them for a great price they like.  (the secret...it's the system that sets the price...not me!)  With all that being said, i am still excited about the new adventure.  Very VERY sad to leave RIFA as i have grown to really LOVE the place, but i feel God has something else for me, at least for now. Who knows, in the right timing i might end up at RIFA again.  One day at a time!

I am moving apartments.  I am moving into what seems like the country to me.  In the building Mrs. Hathcox rents out to union students/former union students is where i will live.  With India.  She will live there until she weds hopefully in january of next year! no, she isn't engaged....yet. (keyword, yet).  Then i will live for the first time completely alone.  never lived COMPLETELY alone before.  I think i am excited about that idea.

Shaun and i are doing quite well.  I adore him just so so much.  We are growing stronger as individuals and as a couple with each new battle that faces us.  God is too good to us!  His church is simply amazing!  I have never felt so at home as i do at the church.  Friendship Baptist Church in Friendship, TN truly fits its title!

So, i guess there was a couple things to report.  Well, this was fun! hehe!  How are all of you!?

wow!  what a weekend!  this past weekend i went to orlando, FL for a wedding of a cousin that i was super close to growing up.  Shaun went with me too!  So, he got to meet a large portion of my extended family!!!!  We had such a great time with each other!  I think it just brought us closer together!  We took away so many memories and new inside jokes!  it was great!

The wedding was so pretty! (although i was 15 minutes late for it)  The reception was great too! There was dancing! i love when dancing is involved!  So fun!

Then on sunday we went to universal studios!  I had never been to orlando, so i wanted to go to at least one park while there!  So, we went to univeral island of adventure! oh my gosh was it fun!  So, many fun rides, pictures to take, rides, good food, rides, great memories....did i mention rides!  haha, it was great fun!  (i don't think i have mentioned that either!

haha, so with all that rambling, i just want to say one last time.....it was way fun!  hehe

Happy Valentine's Day!

yay! my first v-day with a boyfriend! and he has been sweet already and it isn't the night yet!  He texts me before i can even think to text him to wish me a happy valentine's day and hoped my day was full of sweets!  then at work i got 6 roses in this awesome vase and a bag full of "sweets!"  and about to go out in an hour! what else can this day hold! i'm way excited! i have the best boyfriend ever!!! hehe i am a little biased i guess. :)

so, i guess i forgot to make a post about this.  Got a job about a week ago.  I interviewed the friday before, then was told i would get a call for an answer on monday.   monday came and went and i heard nothing.  so i wake up on tuesday and call them back.  they said it was down to me and one other girl, she was coming in for another interview, can you too? i said sure, i got showered and ready and went down there.  i had my second interview and was told i would hear by the end of the day.  five minutes til four my phone rings and she offered me the job!!! YAY!!!!!  so, i am now the full-time program secretary at RIFA.  It stands for Regional Inter-Faith Assosication.  It is a non-profit organization that has a soup kitchen, food bank and much much more!  go to the website and check it out!  i'm not on it in the staff area yet....but will be coming soon!
